SUMMARY:CCW Pistol Refresher Class (Required to Renew a CCW Permit)
DESCRIPTION:We’ll start with a couple hours in the classroom in Longmont\, take a lunch break and head to the range nearby at the Berthoud Gun Club. In the classroom\, we will review safety and storage of firearms\, some marksmanship principles\, including drawing from concealment\, target discrimination\, de-escalation and response to an altercation\, updated Colorado and Federal firearms laws\, and other topics of interest. We’ll have plenty of time to get some time on targets as well\, because that’s what makes this fun! Our goal for this course is to teach something new\, remind you of important things you already know\, exercise good safety and awareness habits\, and build/maintain confidence in carrying a firearm concealed in a safe manner. This course is taught by Colorado Verified Firearms instructors in accordance with HB24-1174\, and satisfies the training requirement for a permit renewal. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nClassroom Location:\n\n\n\nUndisclosed classroom location in Longmont\, CO \n\n\n\nRange Location:
